The IT Girl

  • Having trained the young, young at heart, blue chip companies and small companies with computers for over 30 years, Lesley is the original IT girl. This blog contains weekly musings, handy tips and her IT girl lifestyle. For corporate computer training Click here and contact Lesley at Ashford Computer Training.

Born and bred in South Africa, I moved to the Netherlands with my husband Eddy in 1969, the year we were married. We lived there for three and a half years before moving to England where we have been ever since.
We have twin sons Mike and Terry, and two lovely daughters-in-law, Nicola and Traer. We have two granddaughters and a grandson - the light of our lives.
Computers have been my 'thing' since 1965 (I must be one of the original 'geeks' of this world). My jobs have ranged from programming electronic NCR accounting machines, systems design and programming in machine code, assembler, Cobol, dBase, Powerbuilder, VBA through to currently training the more popular software apllications of today.
